Industrial cylindrical vacuum cleaners: Is it true that the greater the suction force and power, the better?
When choosing an industrial cylindrical Vacuum Cleaner, many people fall into the misunderstanding that "the greater the power, the better" and "the stronger the suction, the more practical it is". In fact, excessive power may lead to high energy consumption and loud noise, while the suction force not matching the scene will instead reduce efficiency. Reasonable matching is the key.
The selection of suction power depends on the "weight and density of pollutants". When suction heavy objects such as metal shavings and small parts, a high suction force of 30-40 kpa is required. For light contaminants such as dust and fibers, a suction force of 20-25 kpa is sufficient. If 40kPa is used to suck up flour, the overly strong airflow may cause dust to fly, resulting in the opposite cleaning effect. The criterion for judging whether the suction power is appropriate is that the dirt can be steadily sucked in and there will be no obvious "reverse blowing" phenomenon.
The power selection should take into account "usage duration and energy consumption". For workshops that operate continuously for more than 8 hours, it is recommended to choose medium-power models with a power of 2000-3000W, which can not only meet the suction force requirements but also control energy consumption. For short-term intermittent use (such as occasional cleaning of the warehouse), around 15 million is sufficient. Power is not merely judged by numbers, but by the "energy efficiency ratio" - under the same suction force, the lower the power, the more energy-efficient it is, and long-term use can save a considerable amount of electricity bills.
The limitations of the usage scenarios should also be taken into consideration. In narrow workshops or scenarios where frequent movement is required, overly heavy high-power models (often weighing over 20 kilograms) will increase operational difficulty and instead reduce efficiency. At such times, it is more practical to choose models of the same power but equipped with swivel wheels. If the cleaning area is fixed (such as beside the production line), a fixed high-power model can be selected. Connect the suction head through a pipe to balance suction power and convenience.
The "golden parameters" of industrial cylindrical vacuum cleaners are to meet the cleaning requirements while achieving "appropriate suction power, reasonable power, and easy operation". Blindly pursuing high parameters will only turn the equipment into a "power-consuming and noisy machine" rather than an efficient cleaning assistant.
